Common Questions
Are the calculators free to use?
Yes. Every tool on Calculator Wizard is free, with no paid tier and nothing held back behind a signup.
Do I need an account?
Not for anything on the site, including the Debt Payoff Planner — it works fully without one. A free account there is optional, and only does two things: it syncs your plan between your phone and computer, and it saves the payments you log so you can track progress over months. Without one, your numbers simply stay in your own browser. See the privacy policy for what's stored.
Does the Debt Payoff Planner connect to my bank?
No, and it never will. You type in your balances yourself. I have no access to your accounts, credit file, or transactions, and I’ll never ask for banking credentials.
Can you add a specific calculator I need?
Possibly — tool suggestions are the most useful thing I hear from visitors. Send me a note describing what you’re trying to calculate.
I think a calculator gave me the wrong result. What should I do?
Please email me the exact numbers you entered and the result you got. That’s the fastest way for me to track down and fix a genuine calculation issue.
